The Author summarizes the interesting outcomes of the Conference of studies held in Verona on 19 June 2019, dedicated to the recent reform of the XI Book of the Italian criminal procedure code and to the newly estabilished instruments of judicial cooperation in criminal matters, among which, particularly, the European investigation order and joint investigation teams.
