Historien som fick leva om sitt liv : Guido Crepax serieversion av Karen Blixens Den udødelige Historie

Among Guido Crepax' (1933-2003) less known interpretations of classics in world literature is Karen Blixen's «anecdote of destiny» Den udødelige Historie. La storia immortale, drawn in 1987, is an eight pages long graphic short story, a heavily compressed version of Blixen's tale, without, however, banalising its source text. The article examines narrative strategies and composition choices in the transposition, which uses Orson Welles's film Une Histoire immortelle (1968) as intertextual reference.
