The FMECA (Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis) approach proposed in this work is based on the knowledge of the failure rate of the component or equipment. However, it is often difficult to obtain this information above all when the technology is new and in some fields of application. In this paper some details concerning the FMECA implementation and the acquisition of data are proposed.
