abstract:
The infection promoting activity of different substances (mucin, cortisone, cyclophosphamide and antilymphocyte serum) was determined experimentally bacterial in particular but also cortisone could increase the pathogenicity of a number of microorganisms. Cyclophosphamide, however, was shown to have little infection promoting ability, while antilymphocyte serum was completely ineffective.
