• RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
Dr. Mitro's research activity is carried out through the conception, practical implementation and analysis and interpretation of the results of the experiments. The experimental work conducted by Dr. Mitro is part of the study of lipid, glucose, amino acids and energy metabolism with the primary aim of understanding the role of metabolic regulators, both in physiological and pathological conditions. Currently Dr. Mitro's research activity is focused on the molecular mechanisms that control mitochondrial functionality. In the development of projects, Dr. Mitro applies cutting-edge technologies in the field of genomics, metabolomics and bioinformatics analysis.
