Abstract:
The massive spin 1 equation is separated
in the standard Schwarzschild space-time by adopting the Newman-Penrose formalism.
The variable separation is performed by an elementary method and produces the same separated angular equation of the Robertson-Walker space-time case.
The radial dependence consists of seven radial coupled ordinary differential equations. They are finally reduced to three decoupled ordinary equations of the fourth order.
The knowledge of the solution of one of these last equations suffices
to have the complete solution.
