Abstract:
FAB mass spectrometric measurements on several Au(I) derivatives of 1,4-benzodiazepin-2-ones provided information about the stability of these compounds. For all the complexes containing the moiety Au(PPh3), the base peak is the ionic species [Au(PPh3)]+. Otherwise, the positive charge is localized in the benzodiazepinic ligand.
