Abstract:
The anion [Rh5(CO)14I]2- (1) has been obtained by reaction of I- with Rh4(CO)12; the cluster, containing five metal atoms, consists of an elongated trigonal bipyramid with the iodide ligand terminally bound to an apical rhodium atom.
