Abstract:
Theoretical predictions at an unprecedented level of precision are nowadays indispensable
to fully exploit the discovery potential of the collected and forthcoming data at the CERN
Large Hadron Collider (LHC). In this contribution we present recent results on high-precision
perturbative QCD calculations by considering the formalisms necessary to perform fully-
differential fixed-order calculations at high perturbative order and to resum to all-order the
infrared (Sudakov) large logarithmic corrections. We show illustrative phenomenological
results for cross sections and associated distributions of key LHC processes, such as Higgs
boson, vector boson and diphoton production
