Marcel Proust’s À la recherche du temps perdu

Within the first English translation of the volume edited by P. Italia and G. Raboni, which is extended in respect to the Italian version, the contribution reflects on some aspects of theory and praxis of of editing ‘authorial texts’ through the example of the Proustian case, in an ideal dialogue between the two main schools of the discipline, French and Italian.
