"The figure of Dante Alighieri, whose seventh centenary since his death is celebrated in 2021, is crucial in emphasizing the valuable interactions between Italian and European culture and Arab-Muslim culture. It is also an excellent starting point to highlight the developments of interculture, the establishment and maintenance of cultural relationships as forms of dialogue and mutual exchange of knowledge, from the Divine Comedy to the developments of the Islamic-Christian dialogue.
