Abstract:
The surface chemistry of three different copper based systems (Cu-ZSM5, Cu-ETS10 and Cu-silica-alumina) prepared with different copper loadings has been studied by adsorption microcalorimetry of NO and CO. The reducibility and regeneration of the Cu2+ ions and copper oxide crystals were studied by TPR-TPO experiments. The catalytic activity for NO reduction with hydrocarbons in oxidizing atmosphere appeared to depend on the nature and dispersion of the copper species.
